After a short, but fulfilling, spring semester in Los Angeles interning with CBS News, I’m thrilled to be back in Ithaca for my senior year! I had the opportunity to cover some of this year’s most important stories including Kobe Bryant’s death, the Oscars, and COVID-19. Over the summer, I interned with WNYT NewsChannel 13 in Albany, NY learning the ins and outs of a local newsroom; I also continued working as a reporter for The Ithacan, ICTV, and WICB while at home. This fall, I’m looking forward to continuing my passion for journalism while reporting and anchoring for multiple shows on ICTV: Good Day Ithaca, Newswatch 16, ICTV Reports and Election Center. I will also be reporting for WICB and The Ithacan. I’m leading the WRFI Group Service Project and this semester we are focusing on public safety and police reform in Tompkins County. I’m also looking to volunteer at the Ithaca Children’s Garden and continue working on ways to make the Park School more inclusive with Diversity Advocates of Park.
