After my incredible semester abroad in New Zealand, I am very excited and grateful to be back in Ithaca for my junior year.
This semester, I’m involved in a variety of service projects such as Megaphone. Megaphone has been running a social media campaign for the Syracuse Police Accountability and Reform Coalition with the goal of implementing police reform policies in the city of Syracuse. I’ve been in charge of social media management and video editing for this project. I’m also volunteering with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier and participating in their food sorting and repacking events. Lastly, I’m running virtual Zoom workshops for senior citizens as a part of the Device Advice service project.
This fall I’m continuing to serve as the web director for The Ithacan. I’m currently working on a redesign of the newspaper’s website. I’m also a junior web developer for the school’s IT department and the president of Challah for Hunger club.
