PHIL-21200 Introduction to Ethics

We were able to look at both sides of each topic and even explore new topics that I was unaware were so controversial.

[I found] (1) looking at the different possible ways to argue something and the different ways to approach a problem and (2) talking about real-world problems in an in-depth manner [to be most educationally valuable about this course.]

It was fascinating to learn about the different school of ethical thought. It gave a number of different avenues through which we could evaluate a concept.

[I found] the way that it taught me to think [to be most educationally valuable about this course.] It showed me how to look at issues and see the good and the bad on each side and make an informed decision/opinion.

[I found] learning about so many points of view [to be most educationally valuable about this course.] It helped me realize how broad the topic of ethic really is. I also learned how to accept that one thing isn’t always universally true.

[I found] learning to be more open-minded and see things from a different perspective [to be most educationally valuable about this course.]

[I found] the time we spent in groups developing an argument strong enough to withstand debating with the other groups [to be most educationally valuable about this course.]

I learned several different approaches to the ways of evaluating morals.
