Learned a lot about different philosophers, their beliefs, and the way in which these beliefs fit into American history and the development of American culture.
I haven’t been exposed to much philosophy, and this class paired really well with my Sociology major.
[I found] the historical side of American philosophy and how it’s changed as well as held onto traditional views [to be most educationally valuable about this course.]
