PHIL-33000 The Good Life

Like other courses in this field, it gives us the opportunity to look back and reflect on the reasons for why we do what we do. I think this sort of introspection and analysis is the most important and responsible thing someone can do.

This course encouraged critical thinking about the material. We read many very influential philosophers but the real learning came when we questioned what those philosophers were telling us. In-class discussions were interesting and the material was very engaging.

It was incredibly interesting to think about values and questions regarding the notion of a good life through a philosophical standpoint. Through our discussions I was able to examine aspects of my own life and feel that such a tool is indispensable for my future.
