When and Where is this event happening?

The event will be taking place on Thursday, April 20th at 5pm in Emerson Suites which i located in the Campus Center.

Who can attend?

Anyone who wishes to celebrate the accomplishments of our LGBTQ+ and allied seniors and graduate students are welcome at the upcoming Rainbow Reception.

I am graduating and want to participate. What do I do?

Who can attend?

Anyone can attend to support the graduating seniors and graduate students being honored! The more the merrier!

My degree requirements won't be met until June, October or December 2023. When is my Rainbow Reception?

Now! The Rainbow Reception is held once each year, and honors all students graduating in spring, summer, fall, or winter 2022! Be sure to register here, and attend so you are honored.

If I am being honored can I invite people?

YES! Please invite whomever you want! Whoever will make this celebration meaningful for you be it family, friends, professors, advisors, etc. 

What Happens at the Rainbow Reception

Graduating seniors and graduate students who choose to participate receive special rainbow-colored graduation honor cords, or honor stoles for graduate students. We invite honorees to make brief comments if they wish. The event features music, light refreshments, and remarks by special guests.
