Do I have to test for COVID-19 prior to returning to Campus?

No, at the present time Ithaca College is not requiring COVID-19 testing to return to campus. 

Do I need a COVID-19 vaccine or booster to return to Campus?

As of March 22, 2023, Ithaca College no longer requires incoming students to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccinations. 

Is COVID-19 testing available of campus?

Yes there are two options for COVID-19 testing on campus. 

The Hammond Health Center offers over the counter test kits for sale.  Students may stop by the health center during clinic hours. 

The Hammond Health Center will performs rapid PCR COVID-19 tests for students are seen by a provider with symptoms. 

What happens if I test positive for COVID-19 and live on campus?

Ithaca College recommends that students follow the CDC's guidance for the prevention of respiratory viruses: 

  • Stay home and away from others (including people you live with who are not sick) if you have respiratory virus symptoms: including fever, chills, fatigue, cough, runny nose, and headache. 
  • Return to normal activities when your symptoms are improving and you have not had a fever for 24 hours (and are not using fever reducing medication). 
  • Take added precaution over the next 5 days:  hygiene, masks, physical distancing when you are around other people.
