AIDS Quilt Displayed in November

One hundred and twenty-eight panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display in the Emerson Suites November 15–18. The name of a person who has died of AIDS has been sewn into each 3-by-6-foot panel by friends and loved ones.

Performance Artist's Works to be Screened

A video screening of selected works by performance artist Ana Mendieta will be presented in the Handwerker Gallery on Thursday, November 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Choir Premieres Local Composer's Work

The Ithaca High School Choir will perform the world premiere of local composer Elizabeth Alexander’s "A Palette to Paint Us as We Are," a song promoting racial harmony, at Ithaca College’s 20th Choral Composition Contest and Festival on Saturday, November 13.
