Updated Hours for Campus Resources Available During November Break

As we near the Thanksgiving holiday, Ithaca College will have some alterations to the typical services and resources available to individuals remaining on campus during the November Break. Please be aware that many areas will have limited hours and/or will be closed during this period. Please keep reading for more information on various campus support resources that will have altered operations during the upcoming week (November 20-November 28).

Please note that this list may not be exhaustive. For more information on a particular service or office that is not listed, please visit their website or contact them directly for more information.

Ithaca College Dining Services
Ithaca College Dining Services has significant updates to its operations from Friday, November 19 – Sunday, November 28.

Friday, November 19
Campus Center Dining Hall will close at 3:00 p.m. All other dining halls and retail locations will maintain regular hours of operation.

Saturday, November 20 – Sunday, November 21
All dining services will be closed.

Monday, November 22 – Tuesday, November 23
There will be limited dining operations through the Ithaca Bakery retail location available during Monday and Tuesday. Breakfast and lunch will be available during the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. All other dining locations will be closed.

Wednesday, November 24 – Saturday, November 27
All dining services will be closed.

Sunday, November 28
Ithaca College Dining Services will resume operations beginning at 5:00 p.m. The Terrace Dining Hall will be open for dinner between the hours of 5:00-9:00 p.m. The Towers Marketplace will also have dinner service available from 5:00-10:00 p.m. Please note that Kosher Korner will be closed during Sunday’s dinner service; however, limited Kosher food support will be made available upon request with advance notice.

All other locations will be closed until Ithaca College returns to normal operations on Monday, November 29.

Ithaca College Food Pantry
The Ithaca College Food Pantry will have hours of operation on both Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23, from 12:30-2:00 p.m. 

Fitness Center
The Ithaca College Fitness Center will have significantly reduced hours during the period from Friday, November 19 – Sunday, November 28. Updated hours begin on Friday, November 19, with the Fitness Center closing at 2:00 p.m. The Fitness Center will remain closed through the November 20-21 weekend, before reopening from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23. The Fitness Center will be closed for the remainder of the week from Wednesday, November 24, through Sunday, November 28.

Hammond Health Center
The Hammond Health Center will be closed from Saturday, November 20, through Sunday, November 28.

Students experiencing a medical emergency or in need of care during non-operating hours should refer to this webpage for more information.

Emerson Hall COVID-19 Testing
Students who are seeking COVID-19 testing will be able to do so at Emerson Hall between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on both Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23.

CAPS
The Office of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will have normal hours of operation on Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23, and is available for virtual appointments. Please note that CAPS is not licensed for virtual meetings with students who are not currently in New York State. 

Although the office will be closed from Wednesday, November 24, through Sunday, November 28, individuals are able to use the CAPS After-hours On-call service. To reach this service, please dial (607) 274-3136 and follow the prompts. This service is available to all individuals regardless of their location within our outside of New York State.

Campus Center
The Ithaca College Campus Center will have reduced hours of operation during the upcoming November Break. 

On Friday, November 19, the Campus Center will close operations at 8:00 p.m. and will remain closed during the weekend of Saturday, November 20, and Sunday, November 21. 

The Campus Center will have reduced hours of operation on both Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The Campus Center will remain closed for the duration of November Break from Wednesday November 24, through Sunday, November 28.

Office of Residential Life
There will be a limited number of Residential Life staff present on campus to address lock-outs and other support requests. Refer to the duty schedule on the entrance doors of each building for information about the Resident Assistant (RA) or Apartment Assistant (AA) covering your area of campus. All students residing on campus were required to complete the Thanksgiving Break Occupancy Form prior to the 5:00 p.m. on November 18 deadline. The Office of Residential Life will be officially closed from Wednesday, November 24, through Sunday, November 28.

Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management
The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management is always open 24 hours a day year around. If you are experiencing an emergency or need support from this office, you can contact Public Safety directly at (607) 274-3333.

Other SACL Departments
Several departments in the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life will be operating remotely during Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23 this coming week. This includes the Office of Student Engagement, Office of New Student and Transition Programs, and the Office of Career Services. If you require support from these departments during the break period, they can be reached via email or leave a message by phone with a response to follow as soon as possible.
