We would like to share the recommended docking stations and adapters that are compatible with the standard computer configurations supported through the Technology Renewal Program. 

*Note* - Docking stations are not included in the Technology Renewal Program and must be purchased separately by departments.

Docking Stations

Dell:

  • D6000
    • Includes 4 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB-C port, 1 HDMI port, 2 DisplayPort, and Ethernet connection
    • Available through the Dell catalog in IC Marketplace
      • "Approved D6000 Universal Docking Station"

Apple:

  • CalDigit TS3 Plus 15-Port Thunderbolt 3 Dock (Space Gray)
    • Includes USB 3.0 ports, USB-C ports, 1 DisplayPort, Thunderbolt ports, Ethernet, and Audio
    • Available through IC Marketplace via B&H Foto & Electronics Corp.

Adapters

*Note* - An adapter will be provided to you from IT for all Apple laptops. 

  • Dell USB-C Mobile Adapter
    • Includes 1 HDMI port, 1 DisplayPort, 1 VGA port, Ethernet, USB-C and USB ports
  • Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter
    • Includes 1 HDMI port, 1 USB 3.0 port, and 1 USB-C port
  • Apple USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter
    • Includes 1 VGA port, 1 USB 3.0 port, and 1 USB-C port
