ASYNCHRONOUS PROGRAMS (REQUIRED)

Schedule an Appointment with an Advisor:
After you attend your school's Academic Overview, you will receive directions to schedule an advising appointment the week of January 11th or January 18th. More information will be provided during the Spring Orientation.

Asynchronous programming will be offered through our Linkedin Learning platform available starting January 11th and linked below.
Instructions:
Students select the links below and you will be prompted to sign in. If you have a Linkedin profile, please use that email address, if not, please use your Ithaca.edu email. You will then be prompted to log in using your Ithaca netpass and password. If you have a profile, you will be encouraged to link the two - this means that things you complete on Linkedin Learning will show as a certificate under your profile. Once you continue, you should see the recommended learning paths; Spring Orientation (required) and Spring Orientation (additional resources). Once you log back in, it will remember your progress and bring you back to your next assignment.

Students will be expected to complete: Spring Orientation Required Programming

  • Meet the Academic Advising Center
  • Getting Involved at IC
  • Office of the Registrar, Supporting your Path to Graduation

We also suggest reviewing some of the additional resources offered: Spring Orientation (Additional Resources)

  • Including learning more about Student Engagement, Information Technology, Rec. Sports, and more!

Small Group Engagement

Starting January 4th, students will receive outreach from your Orientation Leaders who will be leading a small group of students through a mix virtual programming including spaces to ask questions about life on campus, understanding resources, as well as hosting optional social programs to start meeting your peers. The meeting time and link to join will be shared with your Ithaca email

Please communicate with your Orientation Leader & the NSTP Office by emailing us at nstp@ithaca.edu if there are any time conflicts and we will do our best to offer you another time.

FAMILY & SUPPORTER SESSIONS

Family and Supporters are welcome (and encouraged) to join the Academic Sessions presented by schools as well as the asynchronous videos. We are also available to answer questions or guide you to resources by reaching out to us at nstp@ithaca.edu or via our live chat below.

We will also be hosting a virtual Family Town Hall later in February (more details to come) and we encourage you to join us for a discussion with Senior Leadership and members of the new IC Family Council.
