Sara Haefeli (School of Music) is an associate professor of music history and chair of the Academic Policies Committee. Sara is co-author of Writing in Music: A Brief Guide (Oxford, 2019) and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Music History Pedagogy. She is author of John Cage: A Research and Information Guide and her work on Cage has been published in the journal American Music. Sara is also an accomplished cellist specializing in contemporary music performance.
