Frequently Asked Questions
Where will I stay during new student orientation?
Summer orientation is a three-day program that includes on-campus accommodations for students in one of the on-campus residence halls. The rooms are assigned prior to your arrival and you can expect one or two roommates during your stay. The orientation residence halls are co-ed by floor (meaning men and women are housed on different floors) and each floor has a communal bathroom.
Should you need to stay overnight before or after your orientation session, please make arrangements with a local hotel prior to your arrival in Ithaca. If you need assistance, please contact our office, or you can find information about local accommodations at /ithacaguide.
