Corporate Accounting Concentration

In our accounting concentration you'll learn to analyze business decisions and apply theoretical concepts to practical problems facing today's businesses. The corporate accounting concentration allows students to do advanced work in cost accounting, financial reporting, and tax while completing another business administration concentration. While this concentration is attractive to students who are concentrating in finance and who are seeking a solid foundation in accounting, it can be chosen only as a complement to the finance, marketing, management, or international business concentrations. Students who are interested in accounting as their primary field or who wish to sit for the CPA exam should enroll in the accounting major.

Upon graduation you'll be prepared for work in private firms, government, and not-for-profit organizations or you may pursue graduate studies or enter law school.
