Future Business Student Hub

The Ithaca College School of Business offers majors in Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Sport Management, and Strategic Leadership.
Three students holding creative signs.

Regardless of your major, a hallmark of the Ithaca College School of Business is the first-year World of Business experience. This academic course - that all business students complete - features an early, hands-on introduction to the modern business world. The course includes the fundamentals of building a brand, analyzing a stock, and starting a company. Every three weeks, you and your team stand up and pitch (a marketing pitch, a stock pitch, and a venture pitch). At the end of the semester, you'll present to a panel of experts in the field (alumni, executives, faculty).

You will then have the opportunity to complete coursework specific to your major, along with liberal arts and other professional coursework available throughout the college, to add greater breadth and depth in your chosen field of study. Each major is designed to offer a cohesive experience — real-world projects, mentoring, guest speakers, extracurriculars — preparing you for the workforce and careers beyond South Hill.
