The following individuals serve as advisors to  Pre-Health Professions students. Each bring their own areas of expertise and experience to the program:

Julie Boles, M.S. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education (HPPE) Department and serves as the Internship Coordinator for students in HPPE. She previously served as the (formerly named) Pre-Professional Program Coordinator. Her background is health information technology and she teaches the Medical Terminology, Cyborgs, Clones, Policy: New Technologies in Health and Medicine course.

Courtney Gray, M.S., ATC is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Exercise and Sports Sciences. She teaches several courses in the Athletic Training major as well as working clinically as an Athletic Trainer for Ithaca College athletics. Courtney works specifically with the women’s soccer, men’s basketball, and outdoor track and field teams while supervising athletic training students completing their clinical internships. She is a proud graduate of the Ithaca College Athletic Training program and loves being a part of the faculty.

Christina Moylan, Ph.D is Associate Provost for Graduate and Professional Studies at Ithaca College.  Previous teaching experience includes Foundations for Public Health as well as an upper level course, Legal and Ethical Issues in Health Policy, offered by the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education.  Prior to joining the academic world, worked in the private sector on Medicaid, uninsured, and other related health policy issues.

Mary Pitti, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Department and serves as an Advisor to our Pre-Health Professions students. She is also the Clinic Director in the Ewing Speech and Hearing Clinic. She has been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist for over 30 years. Her professional work experience include both inpatient and outpatient medical settings.

John Sigg, Ph.D is an Associate Dean in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. He is trained in the field of biomechanics and taught courses in biomechanics and kinesiology for a number of years in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences.
