Part-Time Lecturer Amarendra Sharma

Dr. Amarendra Sharma is a seasoned economist with more than twenty years of experience in teaching economics. Throughout his career, he has held academic positions at institutions such as Miami University; Elmira College; University of Tampa; American University; and The University of Maryland-Global Campus. His contributions to the field are well-documented with numerous articles published in peer-reviewed economics journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Sharma is a prominent figure in the research community having presented his findings at various conferences. 

His research has been diverse, spanning areas such as Development Economics; Public Economics; International Economics; Sports Economics; Industrial Organization; Labor Economics; and Education Economics. He has been listed in both Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in America. 

Dr. Sharma's academic journey led him to obtain a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Cincinnati, where his pioneering doctoral dissertation focused on the Economics of Internet Search Engines. Prior to that, he also attained masters degrees in economics from the University of Cincinnati and the Delhi School of Economics, respectively, and earned a bachelor's degree in economics with honors from Ramjas College, University of Delhi.
