Learn the business of theatre and gain tangible lifelong skills

Our program is one-of-a-kind. It combines classroom learning and hands-on, real-life application, creating future performing arts leaders from day one.

What is Theatre Arts Management?

When you buy a ticket or attend a theatrical performance, you are surrounded by theatre management! From purchasing your tickets through the online ticketing platform, ushers scanning your tickets, to seeing posters to upcoming productions, a theatre administrator is involved in all those processes, and you could be too!

Why is Theatre Arts Management at Ithaca College unique?

From day one in the program, students will be applying what they learn in the classroom to real-life scenarios in their laboratory of Dillingham Center. Students will be selling tickets to the Ithaca and regional Finger Lakes community using our Tessitura ticketing system, promoting Center for Theatre and Dance productions, and providing a great customer experience for all attendees.
