There are two types of transfer students: internal (current Ithaca College students) and external (applying from another institution). If applying for spring admittance, applicants must audition during the first audition date in December. Admission to the spring semester is largely dependent upon the enrollment needs in certain instrument areas and/or degree programs.
Transfer Students
All transfer students (including minors) must complete the Undergraduate Application Process (Internal Transfer applicants are excluded from this requirement).
Adding/Changing Major or Minor (Internal Transfers)
- Changing Major
- Internal transfer students must submit the Change of Major Form through IC Workflow if and when admitted, based upon the results of their audition.
- Adding Minor
- Internal transfer students must submit the request to Add or Drop Minor Form through IC Workflow prior to their audition.
