At MTD, we believe that music, theatre, and dance really are Better Together, and the innovative thinkers and trailblazers you will soon be engaging with are proactively collaborating to push the performing arts forward. Our faculty and staff are committed to ensuring an inspiring learning environment for our talented students and we are excited about the opportunities you will soon have to connect with fellow students in our School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, and across Ithaca College. Access your New Student Checklist and Academic Interests Survey via IC Connect. Complete your Academic Interests Survey by June 12 to ensure that you’ll be placed in courses that meet your needs and reflect your interests.
We will provide you with access to your fully completed schedule during the week of August 5. (Even if you see before then via Ithaca College’s systems that you are registered for some classes, your schedule is not official until we notify you in early August.)
You will be assigned a faculty advisor in August, prior to the start of orientation. If you have questions before then, email MTDacademicsupport@ithaca.edu.
Transfer Students
In the coming weeks, you will be contacted by a representative from the dean’s office to assist you with your individual degree plan and course registration. You will meet your faculty academic advisor in August during orientation and will have the opportunity to make any necessary adjustments.
