School of Music Information Sessions
The School of Music is pleased to offer information sessions for prospective students and families most Mondays and Fridays at 11:00 a.m. ET. Each session includes information about the School of Music, our degree programs, as well as the application and audition process. The session will last approximately one hour.
To sign up, please fill out our Virtual Visit Form. There you can also register for other opportunities, including an Ithaca College information session and Q&A.
Sample Private Lessons
Prospective students may contact our faculty members to inquire about taking a sample private lesson. Lessons are given at the sole discretion and availability of faculty members. In most cases, a fee is charged for these lessons. Please visit our faculty directory to contact our faculty directly.

Campus Tours
The Office of Admission offers many opportunities for prospective students to visit campus, including daily campus tours, personal meetings with an admission counselor, and open houses. These in-person visit opportunities have been scaled back due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus.

Open Houses
The School of Music is pleased to participate in each Ithaca College open house. Open houses are offered on Saturdays and select weekdays, and provide an opportunity for you to learn about our academic programs, explore our campus, and meet many of the people that make Ithaca the special place that it is.
Note: In-person open house events will not be offered for Fall 2020 due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus.

Accepted Students
Students accepted to the School of Music are invited to attend the Dean's Host program. The program takes place in March and April, and participants have the opportunity to experience first-hand what life as a music student is like. Registration information will be sent out in March with students' acceptance letters.
