Have you been engaged in research, internship opportunities, student teaching, or conferences?
The Ithaca College Madrigal Singers were invited to sing at the New York State School Music Association conference in Rochester, New York. I enjoyed getting to connect with other programs and educators, and may have spent too much money on scores and merchandise in the exhibition hall. :)
What’s your favorite spot on campus and why?
I love hanging out in the Diva Lounge in Whalen Center. Everyone gathers there, and we do all sorts of fun things from playing card games to talking about life, and every Friday the brothers of Phi Mu Alpha sell doughnuts to raise money for their fraternity!
Is there anything else you would want to share with a prospective student?
Applying to college can be scary and stressful, especially for performing arts students. Remember to take care of yourself and stay positive!
