What clubs/organizations are you involved in?
I’m on ICTV’s Executive Staff, and I’ve been involved in shows since my freshman year. I am on the board of Theatre Lab, IC’s only “no cut” theatre group. Other things I’ve done include IC’s Youtube Vloggers, IC Distinct, and the Ithacan!
Have you been engaged in research, internship opportunities, student teaching, or conferences?
I’m fortunate enough that as of Fall 2021, I am onto my fourth internship. My credits include Production Intern at Rugged Entertainment (Los Angeles, remote) and WVIA (PBS affiliate, Scranton), and an Editorial Intern at Bookstr (New York, remote) and Novel Slices (Ithaca). These are some of the best experiences I’ve had, and I’d love to talk about them!
Why did you choose Ithaca College?
I chose Ithaca College because of all the opportunities within my major. Ithaca was the only place I considered that promised me I could hit the ground running in my major from day one, and it did not disappoint. But more importantly, I’ve stayed at Ithaca College for the people. There is no better feeling like being surrounded by passionate, kind, and respectful creatives.
Is there anything else you would want to share with a prospective student?
Don’t put so much pressure on yourself to know all the answers now. Go to a school that you think will make you happy -- the rest will fall into place.
