Tuesday, April 4th - Clark Lounge (Campus Center)

In recognition of the 30th anniversary of trans lesbian activist Leslie Feinberg’s landmark novel Stone Butch Blues, published in Ithaca by Firebrand Books in 1993, public historian and historic preservation planner Jeff Iovannone will provide an overview of his digital exhibition Leslie Feinberg’s Buffalo, which documents and spatially maps historic sites represented in Feinberg’s novel. Iovannone will highlight several of the sites represented in the exhibition, including the Firebrand Books Building, designated as an individual local landmark by the Ithaca Common Council in October 2022.
