Sponsored Research at Ithaca College promotes and facilitates research and scholarly activities for faculty by regulating and monitoring all research involving human subjects, animal subjects, nucleic acids, infectious agents, and other biohazards as well as assisting in locating and securing external funding. Sponsored Research provides a central source of information on major governmental agencies, foundations and corporations that support research, and pedagogical and creative activities.

Academic Funding  - Academic Funding is responsible for the administration of federal and state grants and assists with the acquisition of external funding.

 All-College Review Board on Human Subjects Research (HSR) - The Ithaca College HSR is responsible for the regulation and monitoring of all College research involving human subjects.

Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) - The Ithaca College IACUC is responsible for the regulation and monitoring of all College research on or involving animal subjects.

Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) - The Ithaca College IBC is responsible for the regulation and monitoring of all College research that involves recombinant DNA, infectious agents, and other biohazards.

James J. Whalen Academic Symposium - The Symposium celebrates student and faculty collaboration in research and creative activity at the College.
