|Promoting global perspective and intercultural understanding|
As the world becomes more connected, international experience and intercultural competence are becoming increasingly important. Those who have studied abroad will find invaluable experiences that further their education or job search.
The Office of International Programs oversees study abroad programs (and domestic programs) and can help students select a study abroad program that is appropriate to their fields of study, personal interests, and needs. They will also assist in the preparation of a study abroad experience.
Cultural diversity and a global perspective are important values at Ithaca College, and we greatly appreciate the contributions international students make to the campus community. The Office of International Programs is committed to providing a caring and supportive atmosphere for international students who choose to study at IC. Currently, there are about 200 students from 55 countries studying with us.
Visit the Office of International Programs webpage to learn more about studying or volunteering abroad, domestic programs such as ICNYC or the Washington Semester Program, or how to become an international student at IC.
