Software Systems Supported by TLT

The following tools are the core software systems used across campus and available for use by IC Students, Faculty and Staff. For more information and training on these systems please reach out to the TLT team or stop by the Instructional Media Lab (IML).

  • iRubric - Rubric tool integrated with Sakai's Gradebook 

  • Learning Management System (Sakai) - Manage all of your course content and materials through the LMS 

  • Leganto - From Ex Libris, Leganto is a tool that enables you to easily create, maintain, evaluate, and share course resource lists

  • LinkendIn Learning - Professional networking and online learning modules 

  • media.ithaca.edu (Kaltura) - Video hosting and live-streaming 

  • Office 365 - Productivity tools including Calendar, email, Teams, Word, PPT, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote

  • Optical Scanning - Self-service scanning of multiple-choice tests (bubble sheets) 

  • Taskstream by Watermark - Student ePortfolio system 

  • TopHat - Student Response System, Open Education Resources and Secure Testing 

  • Turnitin - Grademark(R) paperless grading and plagiarism checker 

  • VoiceThread - Asynchronous discussion, video, and collaborative learning tool 

  • Zoom - Videoconferencing tool for remote teaching and presentations
