A student must meet the following eligibility criteria to participate in CSTEP or C-STEM:
- Economically disadvantaged
- Full-time student (undergraduate or graduate)
- Enrolled in a STEM major; AND/OR
- Examples include majors within the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, sciences, technology, and mathematics.
- Interested in pursuing NYS professional licensure, or careers in STEM and health-related fields.
- Examples include licensed professions such as law, social work, and public accountancy.
Students in CSTEP must also be New York State residents.
