Dave Curry joined Ithaca College in October of 2021 as the Director of Career Services. Prior to working at IC, Dave worked at The Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, which is the world’s largest cost-free private residential school for students from social and financial need.

In his 14 years at Milton Hershey, Dave served as a teacher, a coach of several sports and activities, an internship coordinator and an administrator. In this time, he was honored with several local, state and national awards for both his teaching and innovative program creation geared towards preparing students for both college and career. In his most recent role, Dave served as the Director of Career & Technical Education since 2016, where he oversaw a nationally recognized program which helped to prepare students for careers in every field. In this capacity, he also oversaw the Student Work Programs office which placed students in internships and employment pipelines and leveraged alumni, industry, and government relationships.

Dave received his Master’s degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration of Justice from The University of Pittsburgh, and both Principal and Vocational Director Certificates from Temple University.
