Dan DeCaria joined Ithaca College on August 8, 2016, originally as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications within Ithaca College's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreational Sports. He transitioned to the role of Associate Director, Student Experience Marketing and Communications on September 14, 2020.
Dan supports the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life and the campus as a whole in a variety of internal and external marketing and communications efforts to key stakeholders including students, faculty, staff, families, and other supporters. He serves as a member of the college's Core Emergency Response Team (CERT), a co-chair of the Wellness Leadership Council, and a several other working groups and committees.
Dan graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Media and Communications. He completed a Masters of Science Degree in Sports Business from Temple University's School of Tourism and Hospitality Management in May of 2014.
Dan currently lives in Webster, N.Y., with his spouse and IC alumna Angela Affronti '07, and two-year old son Leonardo.
