Applying to the Piano Institute

Follow a few simple steps to apply for the Ithaca College Summer Piano Institute.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

Before applying to the program and paying any fees or deposits, please review our COVID-19 policy carefully.

Participants must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, including a booster dose as defined by the CDC, and may not participate unless fully immunized and boosted (2 weeks after receiving a booster dose). Participants will be required to present proof of vaccination. Again, please note that you must be fully immunized by the time you arrive. Refunds are not provided to individuals who fail to provide proof of vaccination.

Participants must abide by all campus COVID-19 health and safety protocols in effect at the time of the summer intensive. Please note that these may change over time as we adjust to continue to respond to the pandemic. Failure to abide by health and safety protocols will result in removal from the program, and refunds are not provided to individuals who fail to comply with health and safety protocols.

In addition, depending upon the level of community transmission, it is possible that participants will be required to test, at their own cost, prior to traveling to Ithaca.

Application Process

Enrollment in the piano institute is limited and competitive. Early application is encouraged - prior to April 15 (although we will continue to accept applications until May 15). You will be notified whether you have been selected on or around April 30th. A non-refundable enrollment deposit of $250 is due within 10 days of notification of program acceptance.
