Program Fees

The program fees for 2026 are:

  • On campus overnight $2,500.  This INCLUDES the $500 deposit.
  • Commuters (no dorm) $2,200. This INCLUDES the $500 deposit.

Please be advised that there is a $50 non-refundable application fee.

All fees and tuition are due by June 1, 2026.

Due Dates and Refunds

April 1Application deadline. Completed applications will be reviewed beginning in March with decisions made on a rolling basis. Notifications will be sent via email once decisions are made in March.
April 1 - May 1Enrollment deposit due. A $500 non-refundable enrollment deposit is due within 14 days of your acceptance to the program.
June 1All remaining program fees due.

Scholarships

A limited number of partial scholarships are available. To apply for a scholarship, please complete the Financial Aid form in your Campminder account (in the Forms and Documents section). In addition to this form, please send an audio or video recording of two pieces of contrasting character and style (upload your recording to YouTube) and send the link to pianoinstitute@ithaca.edu.

To be eligible for scholarship consideration, you must apply by April 1. Requests for scholarships after this date will not be considered.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

  • The $50 application fee is non-refundable.
  • The $500.00 enrollment deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations after June 15 will not receive a refund except for a documented medical emergency. If a medical emergency occurs during the Academy session, a refund for room and board will be refunded on a pro-rated basis, sans the non-refundable deposit.
  • No refunds will be offered for dismissal due to violation of Academy, state, or federal rules; early departure due to homesickness; voluntary withdrawal; or following successful completion of the program.
  • A full tuition refund will be issued if the event is cancelled.
  • No refunds are given to participants who are dismissed or voluntarily depart from the program.
