Youth Farm Project (Special Project) (FULL)

The Office of Student Engagement and the Youth Farm Project will be collaborating on the Service Saturdays program through the Fall of 2019. Students will have the option of volunteering with YFP during the September, October, and November Service Saturdays. This serves as an opportunity to learn more closely about the food justice efforts of this organization in Tompkins County.

National Voter Registration Week with AAA

Campus Center

We will be tabling on September 23-24 & 26-27 in Campus Center for National Voter Registration Day. There will be vouchers for FREE BOBA, if you register or prove your registration.
We will be partnering with other organizations to table for that week.

Register as a team or as an individual to get to work building innovative applications for good. This year’s event has three main thrusts:

Tools that innovate on problems facing society Tools that create new ways to interact with the community Tools that solve systemic issues Bring ideas, large and small, meet people, professionally and casually, and come join us for a 24 hour non-stop event. There will be free food, coffee, and Monster to keep you and your team on track to build something great!

Gus Macker Basketball Tournament Hosted by Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC):

"The Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC) is a center for all ages, particularly youth and teens. It serves the immediate neighborhood and the greater Ithaca area by providing multicultural, educational, and recreational programs focused on social and individual development." Click here to learn more about GIAC and the first annual Gus Macker Basketball Tournament in Ithaca! There will be a meal provided to volunteers at this event.

Depressed Cake Shop Pop Up Shop

Cornell Cooperative Extension

The Recreation and Leisure Studies Department is hosting a Depressed Cake Shop Pop Up Shop to raise awareness about mental health and wellness. We will be selling baked goods, face painting, and giving out stickers and pamplets with more information on what the Depressed Cake shop is and why we decided to bring it to Ithaca. All proceeds will go to the Suicide and Prevention Center here in Ithaca, NY.

Fitness Center

This March, the Ithaca College Fitness Center will be hosting our first annual workOUT which is an inclusive workout event that will serve as a fundraiserfor the OUT Foundation. This fundraiser will be held in the Ithaca College Fitness Center on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 11:00am – 1:00pm and is open to all Ithaca College students, faculty, and staff.
