What is the best class you've taken so far?

Faking It: Reality Hunger in the Age of Artifice is an English class I took with Professor Chris Holmes. We studied texts, articles, and even documentaries surrounding con-artists and the idea of fakes. It completely spun on its head how I perceive truth and fact not just in literature, but in my own reality as well!

Major: English

Minors: Education Studies and Music

ICC Theme: A World of Systems

Some cool things I do on campus are:

Seeking out experiences beyond the IC classroom is what brings the IC experience full circle. Applying all that you’re learning in classes to internships and other opportunities opens your mind to so many things, maybe even sparking new passions you never knew you had before!

As the conductor of the women’s a cappella group on campus, I am in charge of everything having to do with music for the group. Even though my major is non-music related, the leadership skills I have attained from being an ensemble leader feel so valuable no matter what career path I take.

I am also an accompanist in the School of Music and a member of the IC Catholic Community Music Ministry.
