Welcome to the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance

Here’s how to get your best fall class schedule.

First-year Students

Ithaca College’s team of academic advising experts have used your Academic Interests Survey responses to construct a personalized schedule that includes:

  • At least one course in your major or the pre-health professions program
  • Your required first-year Ithaca Seminar
  • One or two elective or core curriculum courses that will help you meet your graduation requirements, learn transferable skills, and explore some new subjects that align with your interests.
  • A total of at least 14 credits. (Although your tuition covers up to 18 credits, we advise first year students not to exceed 16 to 17 credits in your first semester unless required by your major.)
Final Schedules for First-Year Students Now Available

Your final schedule is now available in HomerConnect! (Please click on the link below for instructions on how to access it.) You will be assigned a faculty advisor in August, prior to the start of orientation. If you have questions before then, email hshpdean@ithaca.edu.

Your schedule reflects our best course recommendations based on the requirements of your major as well as the interests you shared on your Academic Interests Survey. It is designed to set you up to succeed not only during your first semester but throughout your IC experience.

Transfer Students

You will meet your faculty academic advisor in August during orientation and will have the opportunity to make any necessary adjustments to your fall class schedule.
