What clubs/organizations you are involved in on campus?
I am a dancer, choreographer, and the treasurer of Ithaca College Unbound Dance Company. I am also a member of the Ithaca College Physical Therapy Student Association and the Ithaca College Physical Therapy Wellness Club. I also have recently joined the orientation staff!
Are you involved in Leadership Scholars/MLK Scholars/Park Scholars/STEM Scholars/BOLD Programs?
I am a Leadership Scholar award recipient. I have adored being a part of this program and learned so much about leading a group and critical professional skills.
Are you involved in IC athletics? Club/Intramural Sports?
IC Unbound Dance Co. is considered a club sport at Ithaca, and I am heavily involved!
What's your favorite spot on campus and why?
My favorite spot on campus is around the pond behind Muller Chapel. I can often be found in my hammock on a sunny day getting work done or napping. It is always so serene and calm. On a lucky day you will even see a family of geese or a deer!
Is there anything else you would want to share with a prospective student?
I have never felt “bored” at Ithaca. If I ever wanted to do something, it was easy to find an event or friends to spend my time with. On the other hand, when I did have time I wanted to be alone, there were plenty of spaces and resources for me to get time to myself. The most important thing about being a college student is to find the balance of alone time versus time with others. Here at Ithaca, I was provided with so many routes of doing this that I never felt pressured on one end or the other.
