This message was sent to all graduates who indicated plans to attend the ceremony either in person or virtually on April 21. Students must RSVP their arrival time to the graduate hooding, senior splash, and/or the commencement ceremony. Students who do not RSVP may be denied entry due to health and safety requirements.
Students should use the personalized email that was sent to them from "mydegree@ithaca.edu".
Thank you to all our graduates for completing the Marching Order RSVP. With this important information we are now able to announce additional details regarding our celebration of the Class of 2021.
Commencement Ceremony • Sunday, May 23:
We will be offering two ceremony times for graduates that RSVP’d, regardless of virtual or in-person attendance: 10:00am and 4:00pm. Each ceremony will host 600 graduates in person and will also allow for virtual attendance. Marching Order will reopen on THURSDAY, APRIL 22 at noon for graduates that previously RSVP’d to choose their ceremony time. For students attending in person, you will also need to select your arrival time for check-in (200 students per time). You must check in at your designated, chosen arrival time or we cannot guarantee your admission to Glazer Arena due to health and safety protocols. Students attending virtually will receive separate instructions as we get closer to the event.
May 4 is the last day to record your name, complete your slide and RSVP for your ceremony time in Marching Order. Please note again that each ceremony will host 600 graduates and these slots will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
Regalia (cap and gown) is required for all in-person attendees and can be ordered here. All regalia must be delivered directly to you; pick-up will not be offered through the Campus Store. If you do not order by April 28, you will be unable to receive your cap, gown, and tassel in time. Please know this is the vendor deadline and exceptions cannot be made. The Campus Store will be closed during commencement weekend; please watch for graduate online specials and order your Bomber gear at https://campusstore.ithaca.edu/ for safe, convenient delivery.

All students must be able to show a current “green” IC Health Badge to participate in Commencement. We strongly encourage that students complete the COVID-19 vaccination process, if possible, prior to Commencement and email a copy of your vaccination card to healthcenter@ithaca.edu.
Senior Splash:
For students attending the Senior Splash, please use Marching Order to select your participation time for Splash and complete the attendance waiver. There will be five time slots available with a maximum of 200 spaces in each. Students attending Senior Splash can also select their T-shirt size through Marching Order.
The sign up for Splash times will open Thursday, April 22 at noon and close at 11:59pm on Thursday, April 29.

Graduate Hooding Ceremony • Friday, May 21:
The Graduate Hooding Ceremony for those attending in-person and virtually will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 with a start time of 4:00pm. All in-person graduates should arrive at the Glazer Arena by 2:30pm to begin the check-in process. Students attending virtually will receive separate instructions as we get closer to the event.
