JED Campus Initiative's Stop and Breathe Week Events for Friday

Spring Finals

Unable to attend any programs in person? No problem. Check out our virtual hub of online wellness resources that include live animal cams, videos for visual relaxation, and creative virtual art activities.

Event: Guided Meditation 
Friday noon hour in Muller Chapel 
Sponsor: Mindful IC 
About: Meditation sessions are available at noon EST on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in Muller Chapel.  No experience is necessary; guidance is always offered. After the meditation ends at 12:30, there will be the opportunity for discussion until 12:45 PM. If you have questions please contact Diana Dimitrova, Mary Ann Erickson or Eric Howd.  

Event: IC KicksBack
Friday from 3pm to 7pm, Quad
Sponsor: Office of Student Engagement in collaboration with students in the Applied Events Management course, Bureau of Concerts, Student Activities Board, IC After Dark, Student Governance Council, Residence Hall Association, and Dining Services
About: Free, Fun, End of the year celebration. Live music, inflatables, food, and other surprises - join the fun and bring your IC friends!

Max the Dog would like to meet you Friday!

Event: Animal-Assisted Activities 
Friday from 11 am - Noon in the Library

Canines Max and Sybil will make a visit this Friday, May 5th, from 11 am - noon in front of the library, near the book returns, weather permitting (otherwise it will be in the foyer).

About: Come check out different de-stress items from the library circulation desk including puzzles, coloring, board games and movies.

Resource: Sanvello
About: Use your IC email address to get free premium access to Sanvello, a self-care phone app. You can practice self care 24/7 using this tool! There are different resources available including guided journeys, meditations, mini-collections, journaling, and the community messaging board. 

Resource: Wellness Resource Room 
About: Located in the lower level of Hammond, the Wellness Resource Room is available 9am to 5pm Monday-Friday and has different tools for self-care including coloring, puzzles, fidget toys, light therapy boxes, meditation cushion, yoga mats, and more.
