Professor Christopher Harper has been chosen to head the summer institute, Global Team Reporting in Rostov, for New York University.

Harper, the Park Distinguished Chair in the School of Communications, will lead a team of American and Russian instructors and students for the month-long seminar at Rostov State University in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.

Harper has participated in two previous Department of State grants to provide opportunities for cross-cultural exchanges among Russians and Americans, including his position as codirector of the Russian-American Journalism Institute.

NYU has decided to launch the global reporting program as part of its International Study Abroad Program.
