Jumpstart is a collaboration between several departments on campus that offers new students a chance to explore the local community, learn about resources on campus, and meet new friends. We are offering 14 one-day Jumpstart programs on a variety of topics before Orientation begins.
There is no cost for new first-year and transfer students to participate in this program, but there is an application process and you must be accepted into the program to participate. Applications will open on March 17 and will close on July 7. (The Jumpstart spaces are NOT filled on a first-to-apply basis.)
All accepted Jumpstart participants will get to move in to their residence hall rooms on Monday, August 18! The Jumpstart program will begin with dinner on that Monday night, and will run through the evening of Tuesday, August 19.
