Ithaca College's Summer College for High School Students offers college-level credit-bearing courses expressly designed for pre-college students. Summer College students are supported by Resident Advisors, peer leaders who encourage community-building, peer-to-peer connection, and who provide regularly-scheduled social activities when students aren't in class.
For summer 2021, the Summer College three-week program plans to return to a fully residential experience, providing high school students a comprehensive introduction to college life.
THREE WEEK SESSION (RESIDENTIAL): July 5 - July 19, 2020
Should COVID-19 NYS regulations require students be tested weekly to live on campus, the program would cancel its on-campus experience, shift to fully remote instruction and fully virtual student engagement, and be extended to five weeks (July 5 - August 6, 2021). Credits earned during the summer college program are accepted at Ithaca College and normally transferable to other colleges.
