Applications for the 2020 Season Open January 15

One-week applicants require the following to complete their application:

  1. Submit the online application. (Link will be available when applications open.)

  2. Upload a high school transcript.

Three-week applicants require the following to complete their application:

  1. Submit the online application. (Link will be available when applications open.)
  2. Upload a high school transcript.
  3. Upload a brief essay (see essay instruction pdf below).
  4. Submit $35 application fee. 

Required documents can be returning in one of the following ways:

  • Uploaded to your application account
  • Faxed to 866-924-6272
  • Mailed to Summer College for High School Students, Ithaca College, Office of Extended Studies, 953 Danby Road, Ithaca, NY, 14850 
  • Emailed to summercollege@ithaca.edu.

We cannot accept shared Google docs.

Early application is recommended. Admission decisions are made as applications are received. Early applicants have a greater likelihood of receiving their choice of courses. Students will be notified of their application status on average two weeks after submission of their completed application, and all accompanying documents.

Application deadline: June 1. Deposits ($300) are due one week after acceptance to reserve a seat in your first choice of one-week workshop or three-week course.

Using the Online Application

  1. Apply for the first time using the online application. (Link will be available once applications open.)
  2. Save your username and password!
  3. Be sure to include Parent/Guardian info first, or else we'll think you have your parent's name!
  4. Once you've submitted the application, and it's time to upload additional application requirements, like your transcript, visit the LOGIN page, and sign in using the username and password you created.
  5. Click the link for Documents and follow the instructions to upload and pay $35 application fee.

Application Deadline

The application deadline is June 1. International students interested in the three-week session should apply no later than April 1.
