Application and Program Fees

Information on the application and program fees for the Summer College for High School Students.

COVID-19 Vaccination and Policies

Before applying to the program and paying any fees or deposits, please review our COVID-19 policy carefully.

Participants must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and may not participate unless fully immunized (2 weeks after final dose, including the booster shot if recommended by CDC). Participants will be required to present proof of vaccination. Again, please note that you must be fully immunized by the time you arrive. Refunds are not provided to individuals who fail to provide proof of vaccination.

Participants must abide by all campus COVID-19 health and safety protocols in effect at the time of the summer intensive. Please note that these may change over time as we adjust to continue to respond to the pandemic. Failure to abide by health and safety protocols will result in removal from the program, and refunds are not provided to individuals who fail to comply with health and safety protocols.

In addition, depending upon the level of community transmission, it is possible that participants will be required to test, at their own cost, prior to traveling to Ithaca.

Application Fee

There is a non-refundable application fee of $35.

Program Fees and Enrollment Deposit

The three-week session fee is $5,480 and includes a three-credit Ithaca College undergraduate course, housing, meals, structured recreational activities, and access to many other campus resources.

Payment in full due by June 1

Refund Policy

The $35 application fee is non-refundable.

Full refunds of paid program fees, minus the enrollment deposit of $400.00, due to withdrawal from the program by June 1 will be provided. Partial refunds of program fees after June 1 may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Refund requests should be made in writing to the Office of Extended Studies.

No refunds are given to participants who fail to comply with COVID-19 policies or  who are dismissed from a program.

Scholarships

Ithaca College Scholarships

Ithaca College provides a limited number of need-based, partial-tuition scholarships. If you believe you will be eligible for financial aid when you apply to college, you are encouraged to apply for financial aid for the summer college program. The maximum award is 50% of the program fee. Financial Aid requests must be postmarked by April 1 to be considered. The Financial Aid Request Form should be downloaded and returned by email to summercollege@ithaca.edu, or by fax to 866-924-6272.

Foundation and College-Prep Partner ScholarsHIPS

We welcome partnerships with foundations, non-profit service organizations, and college-prep organizations seeking to fully support or offset costs for students to attend our summer pre-college residential programs. For more information on partnering, please contact the Office of Extended Studies at oes@ithaca.edu

The financial aid application is not required from students receiving scholarships via foundations, non-profit service organizations, or college-prep partners.
