Luke Klingensmith joined Ithaca College in the summer of 2018 as the head of the Webcasting Department at the James J. Whalen School of Music. He oversees the production and dissemination of the video recordings taken during many of the recitals that take place here, as well as managing a small team of dedicated student workers and will oversee the various upgrades that are implemented throughout the years. He also oversees the archival of all video captured through the webcasting system.

Luke comes to Ithaca College with nearly a decade of audio- and video-related experience. Graduating from Peabody Conservatory in 2013, he moved to New York City with his wife, where he worked at Avatar Studios until it closed in August of 2017. Some notable projects include The Greatest ShowmanCocoIncredibles 2The Long Awaited Album by Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, and many more. He is particularly excited to bring his expertise to Ithaca College, and is excited about the many challenges coming ahead!
