First and foremost, Cass is a teller of stories. In pursuit of this love, she studied literature, acting, and creative writing into her first year of college, when she auditioned for a radio drama and decided to delve into audio and media production. She transferred to the Park School of Communications in 2011, and pursued everything from sound design and live music production to story analysis and screenplay production. In 2014, she graduated from IC and decided to stay in the Ithaca area to start her home studio, where she produces podcasts, local albums, and audiobooks. She also works as a live sound engineer for BSI Productions.
Since graduating, she has dabbled in other local industries, such as the Finger Lakes Wine Trail, and managed a nightclub on the Ithaca Commons for two years. Cass loves to explore everything her community has to offer: the natural landscape, local farms and vineyards, music, board game groups, martial arts classes, and local economic development. She loves to learn about new industries, scientific discoveries, and find connections between people—and is eager to grow and shape her business to better amplify the stories she sees, hears, and experiences every day. She is thrilled to be back at Ithaca College for the Executive Masters Program in Communication Innovation so she can explore how to do just that.
