Flexible Work Plans (FWP)

Supervisors are responsible for maximizing resources and utilizing staff talents. They are best positioned to understand the demands of the work and the capacity of individual staff members to succeed in flexible work plans (FWP).

The request for a FWP is made by the employee, however the decision to approve a FWP belongs to the supervisor. Supervisors must be prepared to manage the work under the conditions of the arrangement.
