Screenwriting

In this craft class we will go over the basics of screenplay format, looking at the similarities and differences between screenplays and creative prose. We will look at the basics of a scene—how to introduce characters, how to craft plot based upon action and change, and how to write visual descriptions that add to the overall scene. This class will have you analyzing examples according to these elements and then integrating what you learned into a short scene of your own.
