Application Requirements

Step 1: Update your resume

Make an appointment at Career Services for creative ideas, feedback, or to attend a resume writing workshop.

Step 2: Make sure you meet the GPA, judicial, and leadership requirements.

NSTP will confirm GPA and judicial checks for all candidates; to ensure acceptable academic standing (with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 maintained through the spring semester - see Job Description).

Step 3: Submit your application on the Ithaca Human Resources cloud

Step 4: Complete the linked Engage form & submit your video response answering the following questions (10 minute max)

  1. As an Orientation Leader you are responsible for facilitating and making connections with a small group of incoming students. What topics do you feel are important to cover at this time?

  2. Please share a time when you were aware of being part of a diverse community within Ithaca College and based on your experience, what does it mean to create an inclusive and respectful community for our incoming students?

  3. Tell us about an experience at IC that had an impact on your personal growth. How would you use this experience to support incoming first-year students?
