- Welcome Reception: Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall (Campus Center), 4-7 p.m.
- Check in for the weekend, pick up your name tag, enjoy a light snack and a cash bar, and meet members of the IC community. Members of the President’s Cabinet, representatives from each of the five academics schools, and staff from across campus will be present to welcome you to Family Weekend.
- Family Photos: Emersion Suites, Phillips Hall (Campus Center), 4-7 p.m.
- Stop by the photo area during the welcome reception to have a portrait taken of your family group. You can pick up your free souvenir print during Saturday’s family meal.
- Unity Friday: S'mores on the Quad hosted by the Unity Center, Campus Center Quad, 4-6:30 p.m.
- Join the Unity Center for our annual S’mores and hot chocolate bar event during Family Weekend. Bring your friends and family members to enjoy your own customizable s’more and hot cocoa!
- Shabbat Services: Muller Chapel, 6-7 p.m.
- Join the Ithaca College Hillel Organization for Shabbat Services.
- Shabbat Dinner hosted by Hillel at IC, Muller Chapel, 7-8 p.m. (limited to the first 100 registrants)
- Enjoy a warm and cozy kosher Shabbat meal with Hillel students and staff
- RSVP for dinner is required. Email team@icHillel.org no later than October 13 with the number of people attending and any food allergies. Cost is free for IC Students; $18 per person for others (can be paid by venmo or credit card, and payment information will be sent after you RSVP)
- Wind Ensemble: Ford Hall, Whalen Center for Music, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
- Enjoy a free concert by the premier wind band in the Center for Music. Concert programs include a wide variety of music including wind band classics, chamber works from a variety of historic periods, new commissions, and newer works that expand the evolving repertoire for the wind ensemble.
- Theatre Production: Our Town, Clark Theatre (Dillingham), 7:30 p.m.
- Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, this version of the play is performed as Thornton Wilder intended depicting the simple daily lives of the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually – in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre – die. Thornton Wilder's final word on how he wanted his play performed is an invaluable addition to the American stage and to the libraries of theatre lovers internationally. - IC Runs Purple 5k for Domestic Violence Awareness Month: By Terrace 13, 8:30 a.m.
- Hosted by Ithaca College's Office of Public Safety and the Prevention Education Network to benefit the Advocacy Center of Tompkins County. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
- Saturday Morning Arrival Check-In: North Foyer, Phillips Hall (Campus Center), 9-10:30 a.m.
- For families who can’t make it to Friday’s Check-in, this provides another opportunity to sign in, pick up your Family Weekend materials
- Study Abroad Through IC: Textor Hall 102 (Overflow in Textor Hall 101) 10:30-11:30 a.m.
- Join us for an informative introduction to the study abroad opportunities available to your student.
- Family Weekend Lunch: Campus Center Quad, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Enjoy a complimentary buffet luncheon. This is a great opportunity to meet other families and students. Weather permitting, the lunch will be held outside. Dress appropriately!
- IC Maker Space Tours: Friends Hall 102, 12-4 p.m.
- Stop by the newly renovated Makerspace! Learn about all the creative equipment, tools and materials that are available for no cost to all IC students. The space is equipped with 3D printers, a laser cutter, sewing machines, Cricuts and various hand crafting tools which can be leveraged for academic or personal projects. Supervision is required for children under age 16.
- Prunty's Food Pantry Tours: Information Desk (Campus Center), 1-2 p.m.
- The on-campus food pantry provides food and personal care items for campus community members at no cost. Come learn more about the pantry and take a tour of the space. We will be collecting donations all weekend at check-in and the Campus Center information Desk. Please consider supporting our students and community by adding some extra items to your shopping trip.

- Fall Fun & Craft Spectacular: Family Games & Crafts, Clark & Klingenstein Lounges (Campus Center), 2:30-4:30 p.m.
- Bring the whole family for an afternoon filled with fun and creativity! Choose from a variety of boardgames from timeless classics to modern favorites or get crafty with fall themed projects sponsored by the IC Library and Maker Space.
- Open Gaming in the Esports Lounge: Friends Hall 110, 3-8 p.m.
- Stop by for open gaming hours! Two console gaming areas will be open for play on Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5. With a wide variety of games to choose from, you could level the playing field with a Mario Cart competition, step it up with co-op games like It Takes Two, or stir up some family drama with a round of Overcooked! For the retro gamer, try classic arcade games like Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Street Fighter, or one of the other 4,000 titles on the arcade cabinet. Twelve (12) Alienware gaming PC’s will be open for use with a selection of titles like Marvel Rivals, Rocket League, Fortnite and more. Supervision is required for children under age 16.
- One World Concert with IC International Club: Ford Hall, Whalen Center for Music, 7:30-9:00 p.m.
- Join the Ithaca College International Club in celebrating the diversity and talent of IC students. As part of International Education Month, this concert is dedicated to the appreciation of arts, music, dance, and other performances representing different cultures in the United States and internationally. Light refreshments will be available in the lobby starting at 6:30.
