How did you choose your major?

I came into college with an idea of what I wanted to do but there were a lot of things I had never tried before, so I didn't want to declare until I was completely sure that's what I wanted to do. About halfway through my first semester, in my ETO class, we got back our results from the Interests Inventory. One of my results had my major in it. I asked myself: what could I do with this? Would it make me happy? My answer was yes, this is what I wanted to do.

What was your favorite resource to use when you were an Exploratory student?

I really liked using the toolbox resource and the Pluses and Minuses worksheet we did in ETO.

What do you like most about the Exploratory program?

I love how there is virtually no stress about picking a major and how it's all about what you want to do, not what you should do. My adviser was also a great help my first semester.

What is your biggest piece of advice to other Exploratory students?

Don't be afraid of not knowing and don't be afraid to pick a major that you enjoy, it's your future.

What extracurricular activities are you involved with on campus?

I'm a part of the varsity swimming and diving team, a PA/L, and a Peer Success Coach.
